Lily Rabe
American actress Lily Rabe. Her most famous work is her many roles in the FX anthology horror series American Horror Story (2011-2021). She was awarded a Tony Award nomination for Best Actress for a Play for her performance in The Merchant of Venice. Her film credits include What Just Happened (2008). Pawn sacrifice (2014). Miss Stevens (2016). Golden Exits(2017). Vice (2018). Fractured, 2019. Rabe was a TV star in The Whispers (2015). The Undoing (2000), The Underground Railroad (2021), The First Lady (2022) as well as The First Lady (2022). Rabe's screen debut was in 2001 opposite Jill Clayburgh, her mother. Her professional stage debut was made at the Gloucester Stage Company in Massachusetts, where she starred again alongside her mother. Two one-act plays written by Israel Horovitz, Speaking Well of the Dead, and The Crazy Girl, by Frank Pugliese, were her roles that resulted in her being awarded an Equity Card. In 2003, she was back at the Gloucester Stage Company to star in Proof by David Auburn. In the same year, she appeared in the film Mona Lisa Smile. The actress returned to New York shortly after she finished her studies. From September 29 through October 2, 2004 she was in White Jesus by Deirdre O'Connor in a set of one-act plays that were presented in the form of The Democracy Project from the Naked Angels Theater Company.
